Harj Heer

Harj is a founder and director of both Logic Financial Services Ltd and AB & Tax Services, he graduated from King’s College, London (1999) and worked as a Stockbroker, as a Sales Manager for a Fund platform and more recently as a Senior Manager for a large national IFA business. Harj is a Chartered Financial Planner, has an MBA and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS). He has over 15 years of financial services experience, including financial planning, coaching, raising finance and tax planning. His approach is jargon-free and engaging, delivering from his well-informed and experienced knowledge base. For ROST International, Harj seeks out finance for our clients, advising on tax issues, financial planning and sourcing capital.

Andy Birtles

Andy is a Mining Engineer, Professional Engineer and a Chartered Engineer and has specialised in the coal mining sector since 1979 and in the metalliferous and heavy minerals sector since 1999. He has extensive experience in coal mine operations, planning and design (both opencast and underground), metalliferous, precious metal and precious stones mine planning and design (both surface and underground), and heavy minerals mine planning and design. He has also been involved in the valuation of mining projects and operations and exercises involving initial public offerings (IPOs) and the development of Public Reports and Technical Reports. Andy has also been involved in coal research and development and in lecturing activities at tertiary educational facilities. He has had some 16 years operational, management and planning experience in both underground and surface coal mines, has worked in the consulting sector for some 22 years, some five years of which as an independent consultant.

David Woolgar

David is responsible for developing our Alps EcoScience Business in the Anaerobic Digestion, and Wastewater sectors in the UK. He is a Chartered Engineer and spent his early career with a consultancy working in Africa and the Middle East. He returned to the UK working as a process engineer in the water and waste water industries. He moved into the wider utilities industry and qualified as a gas engineer. In 2006 David joined the emerging Anaerobic Digestion industry developing food waste and agricultural crop digesters for renewable energy generation. He was Director of Engineering at Biogen and led the design and commissioning of their fleet of food waste digesters. He now advises owners and operators of AD plants. David is the Chair of the ADBA Training, Safety and Environment Group and is a regular speaker at industry seminars and conferences. David enjoys walking in the local Shropshire hills and maintains links with Africa. He is a volunteer with Tearfund and next year will be going to Kigezi in Uganda to help with delivery of water to rural communities.
